Witch hazel is known for its soothing properties and its ability to remove excess oil. Witch hazel contains chemicals called tannins. When applied directly to the skin, witch hazel might help reduce swelling, help repair broken skin, and fight bacteria.
- Aloe
Aloe is a water binding agent that has soothing and antioxidant properties. It contains antioxidants, enzymes, Vitamins A and C, and it is highly anti-inflammatory. It can help treat burns, acne and dry skin.
